Julie Neas

Julie Neas joined Thrive in 2022 and serves as Thrive’s Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Julie oversees the financial activities of Thrive and its’ lending funds. This encompasses multiple operational areas including the asset management function for Thrive’s equity platform, fund administration for Thrive’s lending funds, accounting and tax preparation, cash management and planning, and investor reporting and distributions. In these roles, Julie works with internal and external operating partners, investors, bankers and CPAs to provide timely financial information for the purpose of tracking investment performance and profitability.

Julie is a licensed CPA with over 25 years of financial service and real estate industry experience. She has an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business and an undergraduate degree from Duke University. She worked in public accounting in both New York City and Denver before moving to Austin in 2007. Outside of work, Julie enjoys morning runs with her husband and raising their three children.
