Phil Herring

Phil is responsible for overseeing asset management on Thrive’s equity investment portfolio throughout the country. He produces investor reporting, performs operational analysis, and strategic planning for our investments. Phil’s diverse skill set enables him to identify operational inefficiencies and produce effective solutions that add bottom-line value to our portfolio while ensuring our assets are operating to Thrive standards.

Initially starting his real estate career in property management, Phil gained tremendous knowledge and expertise in leasing and managing multifamily properties while working onsite for several years. After transitioning to a corporate role with his previous firm, Phil worked several more years in various roles as an analyst, asset manager, insurance administrator and business development associate prior to joining the Thrive FP team in 2016. He has worked in the multifamily industry for over a decade and collectively has 8+ years of asset management experience. Phil holds a BBA in Management from the University of Texas at Arlington, and an MBA from Texas State University.
