Austin isn’t very dense, and that may bode well for the city’s recovery from the Covid-19 crisis. According to a new economic forecast by Moody’s Analytics, published in this report from the Austin Business Journal, metropolitan areas with fewer persons per square mile are likely to lead the drive back to prosperity.
The report examined the top 100 metro areas in the U.S. The metros poised to recover quickly based on the analysis included San Jose, California; Durham, North Carolina; Austin, Texas; Seattle; and Minneapolis.
